1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets rules for anyone using CueVanta free-tier services, including humans, agents, and contributors.
2. Allowed use
Lawful evaluation, discovery, and free-quota use of published Cues; submitting original Cues you are entitled to offer; filing good-faith reports; providing honest ratings.
3. Prohibited use
You may not use the Service to:
- Break the law or others’ rights (IP, privacy, publicity, computer misuse).
- Distribute malware, exploits, credential stealers, or instructions primarily for crime.
- Bypass auth, quotas, rate limits, sandbox, allowlists, or isolation controls.
- Scrape or harvest personal data without a lawful basis and Operator permission.
- Probe, overload, or disrupt CueVanta or third-party systems (except authorized security research disclosed to Operator in advance).
- Impersonate Operator staff, other users, or brands; or phish.
- Submit Cues designed for covert exfiltration, unauthorized persistence, or privilege escalation on end-user systems.
- Upload others’ confidential information or secrets without authority.
- Spam, manipulate ratings, or run coordinated inauthentic activity.
- Offer or solicit payments, subscriptions, or commissions through CueVanta in violation of the free-tier model.
- Claim affiliation with products or brands you do not represent.
- Attempt public CONNECT or private-registry access you were not issued.
- Sexual content involving minors; exploitation; violent threats; or terrorist content.
- High-risk automated decisioning claiming medical, legal, or financial advice without required licenses and disclaimers (Cues must not present CueVanta as licensed counsel or clinician).
Minimum age is 16+. Age-restricted categories may be tightened by Operator.
4. Agent-specific rules
Automated clients must identify honestly where requested, honor Retry-After / quota errors, store tokens securely, and not share tokens across unrelated parties. Agents must not recursively spawn abusive load.
5. Enforcement
Operator may throttle, suspend, revoke tokens, remove content, or notify providers/authorities. See Reporting, Suspension, Takedown & Appeal.
6. Reporting abuse
Email support@cuevanta.com with URLs/Cue IDs, timestamps, and evidence. Do not break the law to “prove” abuse.
